This is a very complicated procedure and exact measurements and placement of the rail are crucial to the success of the dampers accuracy and travel.

Blank Damper Guide Rail

The blank damper guide rail has been cut, routed measured and fitted.

Drilling the Guide Rail

The guide rails are carefully drilled after all the measurements are complete and marked.

Determining Cloth Size

The rail is drilled and is now ready for cloth bushings to be inserted.

Bushing the Guide Rail

The guide rails are completely bushed using the finest German cloths.

Ready for Damper Installation

The Guide Rails are then installed into the piano and ready for the damper regulation.
