About Us

S ince 1998 I have been plying my piano trade and can proudly say that I have been extremely fortunate to be working with some of the world’s finest musicians in the most prestigious concert halls. My client list contains some of the most talented classical, contemporary & jazz players who perform locally, nationally and internationally.

I began playing the piano at the age of 4, developed a love of music and went on to complete my ARCT in piano performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. After 13 years of teaching and playing professionally, I became intent on pursuing the study of building and restoration at George Brown College in their Piano Technology Program. While in college, I augmented my studies by apprenticing with one of the world’s top concert piano tuners, Wayne Chen and continued to do so for five years after graduation.

Since then, I have continued my training and development and have been described as one of the world’s leading concert piano tuner/technicians. After working and studying around the globe, I am happy to once again, call Toronto my home.

This is where I want to be. This is where my passion for pianos once began. I have always loved the idea of a “word-of-mouth”, friendly and honest piano shop, where the art and craft of pianos and the high standards of passionate players are the guiding principles.

Let me introduce you to The Piano Boutique, a quaint boutique style piano store, with a collection of unique pianos. The Piano Boutique where piano buyers and piano lovers of all kinds can come by from time to time to discuss pianos and enjoy a concert.

Ultimately, I would like to design a private piano technical program in Toronto. This will give me the opportunity to give back and share what I have learned from Masters over the years. My passion for everything pianos has taken my journey from my roots of Toronto as my base, to studying at Steingraber, Mason & Hamlin and Bechstein, to becoming the Master Technician in the Philippines. I would like to take the knowledge I have garnered and create a unique, one of a kind course that would enable me to teach others how to tune, regulate and voice pianos. Currently this is a work in progress. With each passing day bringing it closer to fruition. Follow my blog for updates.
